How to Install Ubuntu 16.04 in VM Ware | Step by step Tutorial

Ubuntu is the very famous distribution of Linux. It is very popular for its user-friendliness and its awesome features. Ubuntu releases new versions regularly through their official website.
Recently Ubuntu has announced the new LTS (Long time support) version, Ubuntu 16.04! 
This version has come up with a lot of new features and also it has a lot of new improvements. 
You can download the official ISO file from their website and you can try Ubuntu 16.04.
To try the operating system, you have several methods, one of the famous methods is installing it on a virtual machine software like VMware.

Here I will show you the steps to install Ubuntu 16.04 in VMware workstation in your Windows PC.

First of all, you have to download and install VMware workstation from here.
Also, you can download Ubuntu 16.04 LTS from here.
When you are ready, follow these steps to install Ubuntu 16.04 in your VMware.

1. Click on "Create a New Virtual Machine".

2. Select ISO file from your hard-disk.

3. Give a username and password to your Ubuntu Virtual Machine.

4. Give a name for your Ubuntu Virtual Machine and select the location where you want to store it.

5. Specify the disk capacity as your needs and select the below option, "store virtual disk as a single file".

6. Specify a RAM amount by clicking on "Customize hardware" and click finish.

7. Wait until Ubuntu 16.04 is being installed on your VMware.

8. You have successfully finished installing Ubuntu 16.04 operating system on your virtual machine.
